Beyonce came to slay at the 2018 Grammy Award Ceremony.

The singer who skipped the red carpet, wore a black velvet cut out frock with double high thigh slits teamed with a slanted large black hat, diamond earrings, killer heels Jimmy Coco shoes and a mini clutch bag.

 She completed her look with sleek and chic sunglasses. Her dress is a Nicolas Jebran design.

According to her stylist, her look was inspired by the Black Panther Movement.

The 60th Grammy Awards was held on Sunday at the Madison Square gardens in New York, USA with the most wins by Bruno Mars with 6 Grammys, winning the awards for

 Record of the year - 24K
 Album of the year - 24K
 Song of the year - That’s what I like
 Best R&B Performance- That’s what I like
 Best R&B Song - That’s what I like
 Best R & B Album - 24K

  Best pop solo performance and best pop vocal album awards went to Ed Sheeran.

Best new artist award went to Alessia Cara.

Producer of the year award went to David Frost

Best World Music Album went to South Africa’s Musical Group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo. This is their 5th Grammy award.

One of the major surprise of the night was Jay-Z with the highest nominations (8) and not winning any.
